The Government of India has clarified that the yatra will resume through the route via the Lipulekh Pass in Uttarakhand. It is a combination of road and trek and is administered by the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA).
There are also efforts underway to explore an alternate route through the Nathula Pass in Sikkim, but for now, the only option for 2025 is the Lipulekh route.

High altitudes (over 19,000 ft!) can provide an arduous trek, as such, thorough preparation is necessary. If you always wanted to do this yatra, this could be your year! Keep in mind, the slots are limited, and the demand is high.
How to Reach from Delhi
To start your Kailash Mansarovar journey via the Lipulekh Pass, you first need to come to Dharchula in Uttarakhand, the official starting point of the yatra.
From Delhi, the best way to reach Dharchula Dharchula is by road. Many people traveling to in a group to Kailash Mansarovar via Lipulekh Pass op for Tempo Traveler Rental Delhi.
